The Board of the Child and Adolescent Health Service, strongly support the Uluru Statement from the Heart and the proposed Referendum for Constitutional Recognition of our First Nations People, including a Voice to Parliament.
This referendum provides an opportunity for all Australians to support a fair and just Australia that recognises and values the cultures and histories of its Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples.
The Voice to Parliament will provide a mechanism for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples to have their voices heard and their opinions considered in the decision-making processes that affect them.
Through this process, we will support our organisation in considering this important referendum and ensure that all voices are heard.
