Advice on how to access COVID-19 critical supplies
It is imperative that personal protective equipment (PPE) is available to meet the needs of essential services across the State.
State agencies must procure PPE through the Department of Health in accordance with the procedure outlined below, and continue to comply with General Procurement Direction: 2022/03, which covers the procurement of COVID-19 critical supplies.
So that COVID-19 critical supplies held by the WA Government is available for priority groups, all requests to Health Support Services (HSS) will be reviewed and evaluated by a multi-agency governance body, based on availability of supply and the risk of a COVID-19 outbreak.
Request process
To request COVID-19 critical supply to respond to an outbreak or after having exhausted the primary request pathway:
- complete the relevant COVID-19 critical supply request form below:
- email the completed form to the primary COVID-19 critical supplies request pathway detailed in the table below.
You will be advised if your request has been approved or unsuccessful.
Requestors should note:
- there is a cost associated with the provision and distribution of COVID-19 critical supplies from the WA Government. Estimated costs will be provided as part of the request process.
- there will be no stock returns or refunds.
