Japanese encephalitis
Statutory notification
Japanese encephalitis (JE) is a notifiable infectious disease in Western Australia.
Alert:
cases must be reported urgently by telephone to the
Public Health Units (Healthy WA)
within a few hours of first suspicion of diagnosis.
