Current research projects

There are currently over 400 active research projects happening across the Child and Adolescent Health Service (CAHS), with about 50 new research projects approved each year.

We have more than 250 staff who are actively involved in research and nearly 70,000 research participants who contribute to the vital research being undertaken across our health service at any given time.

Some of the current research projects at CAHS include:

  • Participate Project: encouraging increased participation in research by families
  • Escalation Project: statewide standardisation of recognising and responding to clinical deterioration and escalation of care
