Concession parking
What is concession parking?
The Perth Children’s Hospital (PCH) concession parking scheme offers eligible patients and families discounted parking rates in some car parks at the Queen Elizabeth II Medical Centre (QEIIMC).
The scheme is designed to help the families of patients whose complex healthcare requirements mean they attend the hospital frequently.
Eligible families will pay a reduced rate of $5 per day for concession parking at PCH. Permits are restricted to one per family per day.
Who is eligible to access PCH’s concession parking scheme?
Concession parking at PCH is available to families who meet specific eligibility criteria (see table below) and is restricted to visitor car parks that use a post-pay system. Currently this is the QEIIMC multi-deck carpark.

How do I apply for concession parking at PCH?
Request a concession parking approval slip from the medical, nursing, allied health or clerical staff in the clinical area your child is attending or admitted to. A staff member will assess your eligibility and, if your request is approved, will give you a slip to present to a PCH Information Officer at the Information Desk on Ground Level for validation.
Depending on your child’s expected length of stay, approval for concession parking may be provided for up to seven consecutive days. After this time, a new approval will be required.
If you require concession parking after-hours (outside business hours and on weekends), only a single ticket can be allocated at a time.
When PCH Information Desk is open (6:30am – 9pm every day)
- Take a ticket on entry to the PCH Basement car park or Multi-deck car park.
- Before leaving the clinical area you have attended, request a concession parking approval slip from a member of your child’s treating team.
- Present the signed concession parking approval slip to an Information Officer at the PCH Information Desk to have your ticket validated.
- Take your validated ticket to the car park and insert the ticket as per the normal process.
- The parking ticket pay station will read the validated bar code and request payment for the concession amount.
- Pay, collect your ticket from the machine and exit the car park.
After-hours (9pm – 6:30am every day)
After-hours approval is only for a single day concession ticket.

- Take your validated ticket to the car park and insert the ticket as per the normal process.
