Private patient parking
Parents and carers who have their children admitted to PCH and are covered under private health insurance can access free daily parking vouchers for the following car parks:
You will receive one voucher for each day your child in hospital, and this voucher is not replaceable if it is lost.
How does it work?
Here’s how to access free parking with your private health insurance.
- When you are admitted, you will be asked if your child is covered under your private health insurance.
- A Private Patient Liaison Officer will visit you and provide you with your daily parking voucher, according to how long your child is in hospital.
- You then need to take your parking ticket and your parking voucher to the PCH main information desk in the Atrium, Ground Level. The main information desk is open weekdays, 6.30am – 9pm and weekends, 7am to 9pm.
- Your parking ticket will be validated by the main information desk staff.
- You then use your validated parking ticket to exit the carpark at the boom gate.
Lost your parking ticket?
You will need to pay a lost ticket tariff at the Automatic Pay Station to exit the carpark. You need to collect a receipt, so please don't use a contactless card payment when you pay the tariff, otherwise a receipt will not be generated.
Didn’t validate before 9pm?
You might be eligible for a refund.
Go to the PCH Information Desk from Monday to Friday with your paid parking receipt and your Private Patient Parking Voucher and to speak to the cashier. Please allow a minimum of 15 minutes for a refund to be issued to you.
