Masks
Patients and visitors are not required to wear a mask but are encouraged to do so if possible.
There are some situations when we will ask that you wear a mask:
- patients, clients and visitors who have cold and flu-like symptoms, are COVID positive or close contacts of someone who is COVID positive must wear a mask if they can tolerate one (where visits or appointments are not able to be deferred).
Masks will be available in all clinical areas.

Staying safe when you are with us
The best way to prevent the spread of COVID-19 is by practicing good hand hygiene and sneeze/cough etiquette.
This includes:
Wash your hands
Frequently wash your hands for at least 20 seconds with soap and water or by using an alcohol-based hand gel.
Click here to learn how to wash your hands properly.
Try not to touch your mouth and nose
If you need to cough or sneeze, cover your nose and mouth with a paper tissue or flexed elbow – throw the tissue immediately after use and wash your hands.
Continue to practice physical distancing
Avoid close contact with anyone where possible by maintaining a distance of at least 1.5 metres.
