The Murdoch COVID-19 testing clinic will close at 1pm this Friday 3 March.

The closure of the public clinic reflects declining COVID-19 cases and reduced demand for PCR testing.

COVID-19 testing remains available via:

  • Rapid antigen tests (find out about the WA government’s free RAT program)
  • PCR testing at pathology collection centres (referral required from GP or medical practitioner)
  • PCR testing at regional hospitals or healthcare centres

Hard working staff

WA Health acknowledges the significant contribution made by all past and present public COVID-19 testing clinic staff. Clinic staff worked on the frontline of WA’s COVID response, in sometimes challenging circumstances. Thank you for helping to keep Western Australians safe.

Stay home if you have COVID-19

COVID-19 is still active in our community and it’s important to get tested if you develop symptoms. If you test positive for COVID-19, you should stay home for at least 5 days, or until your symptoms have resolved, to help prevent spreading the illness to others. Learn more at HealthyWA.
