Hold tight! Works happening in PCH ED

September 16, 2021

Since PCH opened we have treated nearly 200,000 children and young people in our Emergency Department. During this time we have been reviewing the functionality of our new space and looking for opportunities to improve the journey through our Emergency Department.

After careful consideration of the best way to achieve improved outcomes for clinical care and patient and family experiences, we are pleased to be starting work on some of these changes.

Over the next few weeks there will be some very minor disruptions from noise and works, but we are confident it will be worth it when it’s finished.

We’ve made sure the work will not impact on clinical care or the patient journey during this time or our ability to see anyone who needs emergency care from our healthcare team during this time.

If you have any concerns about these renovation works, please contact CAHS Communications (via PCH Switch 6456 2222).
