Who we are
The PCH Burns Service is the paediatric component of the Burns Service of Western Australia.
Conditions we manage
We provide immediate and ongoing care and treatment for all children and adolescents with burn injuries and related scarring in Western Australia.
Services we provide
Our multidisciplinary team includes highly trained and experienced doctors, nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, clinical psychologists, social workers, dieticians, teachers, pharmacists and other support staff.
From your child's initial treatment through to their ongoing rehabilitation, our care and support for inpatients and outpatients includes:
- A specialist burns ward at PCH, including advanced infection control facilities and single rooms
- Burns outpatient clinic
- Scar management services
- Telehealth service for acute and ongoing consultations and education in rural and remote areas
- Working in partnership with other teams including the Intensive Care Unit, Operating Theatre and Emergency Department.
Referrals
New referrals for all burn patients should be phoned through to the Burns Service on 6456 2222 for advice and follow-up recommendations.

Acute burns walk-in clinic
The PCH Burns Outpatient Clinic runs an Acute Walk-In Burns Clinic Monday to Friday at 10am only.
