Minaxi May gallery on Level 4 corridor
2020-21 PCH Artist in Residence Patient's Showcase
July 29, 2021

We present a showcase of some of the fabulous artworks created by patients with the artists Steven Aiton and Maxxi May as part of the Artist in Residence program at Perth Children’s Hospital.

A compilation of patients’ animations created with artist Steven Aiton during his stop motion Claymation workshops at PCH in 2020 and 2021 are available to watch under Artist in Residence and through Starlight TV for patients.

Patients’ artworks created with artist Maxxi Minaxi May are now on display in the corridor leading from Fun on Four to the Wards on Level 4 and you can also take a look here.

Patients feel happy while healing when creating artworks in the Artist in Residence Program at Perth Childrens Hospital that provides opportunities for participation in creative activities that aim to positively impact the learning, health and wellbeing of patients, families and staff at the hospital.

This project is presented as part of the CAHS Arts Program, funded by the Perth Children’s Hospital Foundation and their funding partners and presented in partnership with the School of Special Educational Needs: Medical and Mental Health.
