Medication pre-ordering

Our Medication pre-ordering service allows you to email us with the details of your prescription and have it ready for collection or home delivery.

Getting your medications

Preparation of your medications takes at least three business days, so we can prepare your prescriptions.

We offer two options to get your medications:

  • Collection from PCH Pharmacy at Perth Children’s Hospital
  • Home delivery to regional or metro areas.

Collection from PCH

After emailing the PCH Dispensary, you will receive an automated reply confirming that your email has been received. When your child’s outpatient prescription is ready for collection or delivery, we will send you an SMS to notify you. Please allow at least three business days notice.

When you collect your medications, please bring your original prescription.

For PCH Pharmacy location and opening hours, see the right hand column.

Home delivery

PCH Pharmacy offers home delivery for:

  • Regional, rural and remote patients (free of charge)
  • Metropolitan and Greater Perth patients ($20 flat fee).

Please view our map for the metropolitan and Greater Perth delivery areas.

Once you have submitted your pre-order, please mail your original prescriptions to PCH (Perth Children’s Hospital, Outpatient Pharmacy, Locked Bag 2010, Nedlands WA 6909) immediately. For urgent supplies, please use Express Post.

When your medications are ready for delivery, you will receive an SMS. You will be asked to call PCH Pharmacy on 6456 0190 and select option 2 to confirm your address and provide your payment details for medication and courier charges (if applicable).

You will need to allow for three to five working days for medication orders to be processed and sent to your address.

New medications or advice

One of the PCH Pharmacists will provide counselling for all new or changed medications via phone, as well as any other queries relating to your child’s medications.
