Research Education Program

The Research Education Program is an initiative of the Department of Child Health Research at Perth Children's Hospital. It aims to upskill and support clinical researchers to undertake efficient, meaningful and high quality research projects.  The Program provides research skills training and

education for clinical researchers from all backgrounds and level of expertise. The program also provides input to general research processes, polices and the development of further resources.

Hosted by the WA Department of Health, seminars are available either face-to-face or online via video conference sites or individual devices using the Scopia App.

To register your interest or view our upcoming seminars, go to the Research Education Program EventBrite page.

Research Skills Seminar Series

Our Research Skills Seminar Series provides a unique, open access and comprehensive program covering a wide range of topics across the entire research process, from conceiving and idea through to getting results into policy and practice. Seminars are free of charge, open to all-comers, entirely optional and are seen as complementary to formal courses.

Each one hour seminar provides an overview of a topic. For those that wish to extend their knowledge further, comprehensive handouts direct participants to additional resources, and other training opportunities.

The seminars  are delivered at Perth Children's Hospital and broadcast throughout Western Australia to hosted sites and individuals.
