Allied Health

Who we are

PCH’s Allied Health team comprises health professionals who provide specialist diagnostic, technical and therapeutic health services for children and adolescents who fulfil our referral and eligibility criteria.

Through our diverse areas of expertise, Allied Health staff also work closely with other clinicians as a key part of the multidisciplinary approach to your child’s care while at PCH.

PCH’s Allied Health suite on Level 4 includes gymnasiums, therapy, consultation and interview rooms and specialty spaces for particular clinical needs such as seating, splinting and upper limb interventions. A Hydrotherapy Complex is adjacent to the suite.

We also deliver an integrated service to inpatients and outpatients in medical and surgical clinics. A small community service is also provided to enable children to go home and/or return to school.

Your PCH doctor can refer your child to Allied Health services and advise on our eligibility criteria.
